|Lawrence, Ks. – In an effort to transform their existing academic platform, Waukegan Public School District in Illinois has announced the implementation of three AllofE SchoolEffects systems - dashboarding and performance analysis tool, Matrix, district-wide curriculum management system, eCurriculum, and online exam creation & testing system, ExamN.
Recognizing the challenges in managing assessment data, curriculum standardization and online testing, Waukegan selected the three systems from AllofE’s SchoolEffects K-12 Solution Platform. The SchoolEffects K-12 Solution Platform is an advanced, comprehensive platform that maintains easy to use and collaborative interfaces. The newest system in the platform, Matrix, will provide a data mining and performance analysis solution of assessment data for the district.
Because of the extensive amounts of performance, demographic, and other data within a school district, educators are not able to utilize the information to its fullest potential. Waukegan chose the Matrix system to help interpret this raw data into valuable actionable intelligence. Matrix, released November of 2010, provides districts with a platform for not only interpreting data received but promotes informed decision making with understanding of longitudinal trends.
While alone each system offers a robust solution to different academic areas, the collaboration of all three systems together makes for an unsurpassed, intuitive platform allowing for greater advancement for both educators and students in the district.
Matrix allows districts to interpret assessment data in a clear and intuitive way that makes understanding the data simple. The system helps districts to analyze student assessment scores, curriculum standards alignment, overall curriculum effectiveness, and more. They can view performance data at a holistic, global level and at a detailed, granular level for each student.
With eCurriculum, districts are able to define the What, When, and How of classroom instruction. It allows teachers to create curriculum maps and align the units to GLE's, state standards and goals. It assists teachers by providing them with a guide to what to teach, when it is taught, and how to conduct activities and assessments. The system delivers real time curriculum guidelines and course information to teachers giving them a road map to successful classroom instruction.
ExamN cultivates the learning process by providing districts and teachers with centralized assessment and test data, report building, and combined into one intuitive management system. With ExamN your district is able to align test questions and interpret real-time student performance results based on No Child Left Behind requirements, state and common core standards, as well as district standards. The intuitive web-based platform assists teachers in building, administering, grading, and reporting results from anywhere at anytime.
