IEP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FEATURED IN BEST IN TECH FOR ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY

LAWRENCE, Kan.— AllofE’s WISE IEP was recently featured in Scholastic Administr@tor’s Best in Tech 2010, recognizing the best that educational technology has to offer. The WISE IEP product was reviewed in the assistive technology category that considers products that provide improvements in special needs education.

WISE IEP manages and tracks all information, forms, progress and reports for K-12 individual evaluation programs. It simplifies the IEP process by keeping track of all data that is submitted and required for each student in a district.

The Best in Tech evaluation was conducted by Dr. Barbara Woolsey, Special Education Coordinator for Blue Springs School District. Blue Springs’ goal in implementing the WISE IEP system is “to provide an effective, user-friendly, Web-based format for developing and maintaining IEPs for special education students that meets federal, state, and local compliance standards,” Woolsey said.

About 160 special education staff members use the WISE IEP program multiple times a week to manage IEPs for more than 1,400 special education students in the Blue Springs School District. You can view the full WISE IEP review by clicking here.
