University of Bridgeport Physician Assistant Program Implements eCurriculum

Lawrence, Kan. – The University of Bridgeport’s Physician Assistant program implemented AllofE Solution’s curriculum management system eCurriculum HE to more effectively manage its curriculum and track accreditation requirements. AllofE Solutions, which has been working in the field of curriculum management for over a decade, will launch curriculum management into a new sector with the implementation.

eCurriculum HE was specially designed for programs with defined standards and competencies, such as Bridgeport’s Physician Assistant program. The curriculum mapping and management tool will be implemented with the ARC Standards, NCCPA Competencies, Medical Topics, and Blueprints preloaded into the system, allowing faculty to easily track where in the curriculum these requirements are getting covered. The web-based system will also make the information more easily available.

This will allow the program to experience a more streamlined curriculum review process by centralizing content and identifying gaps and overlaps in curriculum. eCurriculum automatically generates reports showing exactly where each standard and competency is covered, as well as a module for tracking student performance related to the standards and competencies.

The Physician Assistant program is one of five Bridgeport programs to implement eCurriculum HE.
