RYE BROOK, N.Y. -- AllofE may have integrated some social media feeds into some K-12 website implementations, but the Southern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services is taking the SMASHUP project to the next level and expanding its reach to the K-12 market with a recent partnership on the project. AllofE is working with SWBOCES to bring their Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Flickr feeds to life.
The SMASHUP project aims to help bring an organization's web presence to the next level and enhance its overall online brand. As SWBOCES' social media presence grows, the SMASHUP will grow with it, as SWBOCES will have the ability to manage every aspect of the site, which will even have a monthly featured account.
SWBOCES serves thousands of students, teachers and staff in its supervisory region of 33 component school districts. Its mission is to collaborate with districts, agencies, and communities to meet their educational challenges by providing regional leadership and cost effective, high quality services.
The SWBOCES SMASHUP project is slated to launch in Summer 2012.
