PROVIDENCE MEDICAL CENTER AND SAINT JOHN HOSPITAL IMPLEMENT ONLINE HIPAA TRAINING
The Providence and Saint John online HIPAA training and testing system went live and has proven to be a great success. The web based system is very user friendly allowing users with no technical knowledge to easily complete the training required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Providence and Saint John use the system to train and test over 2000 employees. It allows them to quickly generate reports categorized by department to track employees that have and have not completed the test. The training site makes updating training material quick and simple saving them the time and money associated with mass printing of training booklets.

Over 200 skilled and qualified individuals provide nursing, medical and support services, and 100 adults and youth volunteers, along with a devoted Guild, are dedicated to the Hospital and to helping serve the health needs of the Leavenworth and surrounding community.
