LIBERTY SCHOOL DISTRICT SELECTS ECURRICULUM TO MANAGE DISTRICT CURRICULUM
Lawrence, KS – The Liberty Public School District recently selected AllofE’s eCurriculum web-based curriculum management system to assist in the managing of its district curriculum. The district chose to implement the system because of its ability to standardize curriculum across all schools in the district and to ensure that the curriculum is aligned with Missouri’s state standards.
By choosing eCurriculum, the Liberty Public School District will be able to harness the power and flexibility of the system in order to streamline the curriculum management process. eCurriculum will allow the district to easily update and share curriculum information including subject areas, courses and unit maps with teachers, parents and students.
With eCurriculum, districts are able to define the What, When, and How of classroom instruction. It allows teachers to create curriculum maps and align the units to GLE's, state standards and goals. It assists teachers by providing them with a guide to what to teach, when it is taught, and how to conduct activities and assessments. The system delivers real time curriculum guidelines and course information to teachers giving them a road map to successful classroom instruction.
The Liberty Public School District is located just northeast of Kansas City, serves more than 10,700 students in grades preschool to 12. The district mission is “to educate and encourage all learners so they will acquire the skills, knowledge and attitudes to be responsible, contributing and fulfilled members of society.”
