LAWRENCE, Kan. – Shortly following AllofE Solutions’ launch of its web-based curriculum mapping system for dental schools, universities in four states have signed on to begin using eCurriculum HE.
Prior to using the system, programs largely manually identified gaps or redundancies in their curricula related to accreditation standards. Having seen the work AllofE had done for Dental Hygiene programs, a Michigan dental school approached AllofE to build a version of eCurriculum suited to its specific tracking needs, automating the mapping process for administrators and faculty. From there, a number of other schools also joined in on the eCurriculum HE Dental product launch.
Programs that recently signed on include College of Dental Medicine-Illinois at Midwestern University, University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, and University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, among others.
eCurriculum HE comes pre-loaded with Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) Standards, and the system also supports the tracking of program-specific competencies. Through eCurriculumHE, administrators and faculty can define where these standards are taught and quickly view if and where the program covers each standard.
