Carroll University chooses CatalogM to help convert catalog content to online catalog website

7-23-2012
WAUKESHA, Wisc. -- Carroll University recently selected CatalogM to help the school convert their course catalogs to more online-friendly versions. CatalogM will help the University better organize and maintain its course catalog content, replacing the outdated, lengthy paper-based process it previously used.

The new Carroll University catalog will feature a catalog website that uses the University website's templates and styles to ensure the catalog website fits in seamlessly with the University website and brand. CatalogM will also allow the University to set up a workflow and approval process to approve new course content as it relates to the University curriculum, and then import that content back into the University administrative system.

CatalogM features global updates, meaning that if a course description is updated in the course listing, all mentions of that course will be automatically updated as well. The new online catalog will also allow the University to track all changes made to catalog content, set up menus the same way as their previous catalogs were structured, and manage both the Graduate and Undergraduate catalogs from one place. The University will also be able to export their new catalog to Word, ensuring that it can manage both the print and online catalog website from one central, database-driven system.
