BLUE SPRINGS IMPLEMENTS NEW SITE FOR AMERICAN HISTORY GRANT

Lawrence, Kansas – Jan. 9, 2009– AllofE Solutions announced plans to further extend its long partnership with the Blue Springs School District by creating and implementing a new website for the district’s Teaching American History grant. The Blue Springs School District received the $980,000 grant earlier this year. The web site provides its audience with key information and resources related to teaching American History.

An important component of the new site will be a document library to host all articles pertaining to the grant, such as the timeline and requirements. In addition to the document library, the site supplies lesson plans, news, announcements, featured sites and upcoming events. American History teachers are expected to gain significant benefits from the centralization of these resources and tools.

About the Teaching American History Grant
The goal of the project is to provide teachers with specific skills to assist students in critically reading American history content and to support students in advanced American history studies. In order to reach its goal, the project will link American history secondary teachers in the Blue Springs and Kansas City Missouri school districts with local and national libraries and museums in terms of content, context practices, and resources.
