LAWRENCE, Kan. – As many optometry and podiatry programs traditionally have mapped their curriculum manually using spreadsheets and syllabi, AllofE saw a need emerge for a web-based system to automate the process.
To quickly allow administrators and faculty to find gaps and redundancies in their curricula, AllofE has launched new versions of eCurriculum HE specifically for optometry and podiatry programs.
eCurriculum HE gives optometry programs the ability to easily find potential holes or duplications related to the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education (ACOE) Standards as well as the exam content from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) they are teaching throughout their curricula.
eCurriculum HE for podiatry programs comes pre-loaded with the American Podiatric Medical Licensing Examination (APMLE) content and the Council on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) Competencies, which allows programs to define where these standards are being taught throughout the curriculum and to get a quick view of if and where the program covers them through its reporting functionality.
