AllofE and Adams State College Partner on New Online Catalog Project

ALAMOSA, Col. -- AllofE recently finalized and began working with Adams State College on a new CatalogM implementation. The College needed a streamlined workflow and approval process, online catalogs that are easy and intuitive for students to use and navigate, and overall, a catalog website that will improve the college’s image and brand, especially following a recent university website redesign

CatalogM is an online catalog management system that allows universities to easily update and manage their online and print catalogs from a web-based, database-driven central location. CatalogM will allow the College to manage both the online catalog and print catalog from one central location. It will also give Adams State an online catalog built for intuitive navigation, a simple workflow and approval process for catalog editors, search filters, archiving, and easily consolidation of multiple catalogs and publications into one seamless website.

"Moving from a print-focused catalog where you post PDFs online and so on, to a more web-minded version isn't always the easiest thing - it's a huge document - but is necessary now" said Katie Brosious, CatalogM project manager. "The win-win situation is when you adapt new processes that actually help streamline the updating process on a year-to-year basis, which is usually the most time-consuming part, while being able to update and manage the online catalog and the print catalog from the same place. Everything becomes more automatic and even fun to do. That's what we're helping Adams State get to."

The project is slated to launch later this semester.
